Draft Bust

Week 15 TNF Preview: Los Angeles Rams vs Seattle Seahawks

Is it just me or have all of the Thursday Night Football games been sloppy? Week 15 will not be an exception to this fact. The Seattle Seahawks (8-4-1) will be hosting the illustrious Los Angeles Rams (4-9). I know you all have had this game circled since the schedules were released earlier this year. The Rams, God bless them, have had a tough season. They sure have had a lot of publicity with most of the recent being negative. Let’s take a look at some notable events:

Moved to a new market
Drafted a rookie quarterback number 1 overall who didn’t start until Week 11
Pissed off Eric Dickerson
Fired Jeff Fisher for producing yet another mediocre season

Sorry didn’t mean to go off on a tangent. The Rams of late have been nothing short of a wild, uncontrollable dumpster fire and it will probably show up on Thursday.
The Rams’ defense is ranked 20th in allowed rushing yards. Seahawks are typically a rush first team and I don’t see this changing anytime soon with Thomas Rawls back. The Rams’ offense is abysmal. 32nd in scoring and 32nd in total yards. This is boring football and it isn’t going to get any better when they play on the road on a Thursday night game.
The Seahawks’ offense is middle of the road but get the job done when necessary. The defense is one of the better units in the NFL. Even though it is a short week I think the defense will have more than enough to shut down the Rams poor offense.

Wilson’s Pick: Seahawks by 13
